I made a gift to express my gratitude to the university. APU was the setting of an invaluable chapter of my life.
I attended APU as an undergraduate and graduate student. By participating in student groups like FLAG (FeLlow Advisory Group) and supporting new students, as well as showing visitors around campus as a member of ASA (APU Student Ambassador), I was able to gain valuable experience that would not have been possible at another university. While enrolled at APU, I was fortunate to receive substantial tuition reduction scholarships from the university and support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), which allowed me to concentrate on my studies without financial worry. I have wonderful memories of all the support I received from Vice President Yokoyama and many of the outstanding university faculty and staff members.
My hope is that APU will continue to produce graduates who care about others and are equipped with the skills to take action in Japan and the rest of the world, and I will continue to support the university in this endeavor!
