Amid calls for Japan to embrace a borderless approach to business due to its declining population and the need to maintain the country’s vitality, APU was one of the first universities to create a free-spirited environment where international students and Japanese students could study side-by-side, and it continues to produce dynamic talent for the world. Going forward, I hope APU students will become individuals who can demonstrate strong leadership and make contributions toward addressing greenhouse gases and other global-scale problems that cannot be solved without thinking and taking action from several angles.
