Q1. Please tell us what activities were prepared in the program. What did you learn from those activities?
We took TOPIK Test preparation classes for three weeks at Busan University of Foreign Language. Classes consist of 3 parts, reading, listening and writing. As extracurricular activities, we had Gyeongju tour, ferry tour, cooking experience of Korean Oden and cultural exchange with TAs. In class I practiced the writing which I wasn’t good at, led me to confidence. Through my stay, I could improve my vocabulary and listening skill. Also, I could make precious friends though interacting with TAs.
Q2. How do you want to make use of the skills and experiences from the program to your future?
In this program, I could completely cover my weak points in Korean. Although everyday home works were a little rough, thanks to that I could be confident on the exam day. I want get a job that bridges between Japan and South Korea, and take advantage of the Korean I’ve learned. Japan-Korean relationship is still chilled but I want to be a person who can spread the charm of both countries.
Q3. Please give a message to future participants.
I’m truly glad I took part in this program. I could not only improve my Korean language ability but also meet Korean friends and friends who studied very hard together toward the TOPIK Test. You can get everyday homework done faster when you are doing with friends! Lol You can learn Korean in APU but there are many things you can only experience at the university in Korean. Please do participate in this program and absorb many things. Fighting!
