Q1. Please tell us what activities were prepared in the program. What did you learn from those activities?
During the program we did not only study Korean but also visited various Korean tourist spots such as Gyeongbokgung and aquarium with TAs on weekends. Moreover, I enjoyed going famous spots like Myeongdong and Hongdae to eat famous Korean food and for shopping with friends after class. I had the opportunity to not only study Korean but also learn the local culture.
Q2. How do you want to make use of the skills and experiences from the program to your future?
I will keep studying Korean to not forget the language ability I acquired in Korea, and make good use of it in my future. I’m thinking to work in a hospitality industry so I want to improve my Korean language proficiency. I could experience Korean daily life and culture that I could never experience in Japan, and I think this experience will help me to deepen my relationship with Korean people.
Q3. Please give a message to future participants.
Participating to Korean Immersion program, I realized that it is easier to learn Korean compare to when I was studying in Japan. Through interacting with Korean people, it was easier to learn grammar and words, and it helped me to increase my motivation to study Korean. Thanks to this program, I got new friends and could get a fun and precious memory in Korea. Please do participate in this program.
