1. Reason Why You Decided to Apply
My Thai language class at APU sparked a strong desire to visit Thailand.
When I discovered the SECOND program, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to challenge myself. Based on my experience from the FIRST program in Korea, Ⅰdecided to apply for the SECOND program which offers a longer duration and more diverse research areas, making it an even greater challenge for my personal growth.
2. How the Program Helped You Grow
In the program, my group consisted of one international student and four Japanese students. Navigating our diverse languages, viewpoints, and lifestyles was challenging, but it significantly improved my communication and consensus-building skills.
Additionally, the program provided valuable experience in field research and area studies, which I found fascinating. I hope to continue exploring this interest in my future seminar classes and career.
