Reason Why You Decided to Apply
I applied for this Field Study because I wanted to put into practice what I had learned in the College of International Management. While we often learn theories and systems in the classroom, there are few opportunities to put them into practice. This program was a great chance to apply my learning in a real-world context. I was especially interested in how traditional industries, like the soy sauce sector, engage with various stakeholders. I believe this hands-on experience will deepen my understanding and contribute to my future goals.
What do you hope to gain from participating in the program and how will you apply it to your future undergraduate studies or career?
Through this program, I had the opportunity to hear directly from local businesses about the challenges they face. I realized the importance of digital tools and branding strategies, and how marketing knowledge can be applied in real situations. I plan to use this experience in project-based learning and collaborate with regional businesses on practical solutions in my graduation thesis and future academic work.
