【Supported project】Internship-based Problem Solving Program
We are working toward a shared vision: a world where children are empowered to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
With this goal in mind, we have undertaken two key initiatives aimed at fostering the inner strengths and self-empowerment of junior high school students in Japan.
The first initiative was an internship at YouMe School in Nepal, founded by our alumnus Mr. Sharad Rai. By interacting closely with the children there, we encountered diverse perspectives, values, and untapped possibilities. The experience offered profound insights into education in a different cultural context and helped us recognize the unique strengths and resilience that children naturally possess.
The second initiative involved conducting workshops at junior high schools in Oita Prefecture. These workshops were designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Reflective Learning Journal, a tool we developed to support students in deepening their learning and self-awareness. We believe that regular reflection can help students build confidence and take ownership of their growth. We are currently analyzing the data collected during these workshops to assess the journal’s impact and potential for broader application.
These opportunities for hands-on learning, cultural exchange, and educational innovation were made possible thanks to the generous aid of all our supporters.
Your collective contributions have not only enabled our activities but also encouraged us to take bold action toward realizing our vision.
We sincerely thank you for believing in us. Your support continues to inspire us to learn, grow, and act with purpose.
