PANGAEA 1
A designated area for group study and research activities that can be used for holding discussions.
※This is the place in the library where drinks (with a lid or a cap, i.e. pet bottles or tumblers) are allowed.
Service Counter
Anything related to reserving, borrowing, returning materials, as well as extending loans, and paying overdue fees can be done here.
Reference Counter
The reference counter will help you with any inquiries regarding searching for material and books in the library, searching necessary items for a certain topic, how to use database, or on accessing material from other academic libraries or research institutions

AMC(Analytics and Math Center)、ALRCS(Academic and Learning Resource Core Staff)
The AMC offers support for Fundamental Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, and Statistics classes and homework.
ALRCS provides support to students to enable them to take full advantage of the library services & resources, and foster "self-learning".
Writing Center
The Writing Center is available for students who need their English or Japanese writing assignments checked by student tutors. Please check your available hours and make a reservation.
Reserved Corner
Textbooks and Further Reading resources from syllabi can be found here. These materials may only be used in the library.
Some materials may be purchased as e-books, please see the Academic Information syllabus.
Periodical Corner
Domestic and international newspapers, periodicals can be found here.
AC Library
Installed by the Advisory Committee, in hopes of sending out talented individuals who studied at APU into the world. The committee includes heads and ambassadors from various countries and leaders of Japan, who contribute to APU in various ways for the improvement and development of APU’s education and research.
Multimedia Room
The Multimedia Room (MMR) is a place where students can work on reports and presentations for classes and do classes and interviews online by bringing their own devices. The MMR is equipped with 7 permanent computers with access to specialized software and a scanner. Please refer to the Academic Information Website for details.
If you have computer problems, please ask the student staff or ALRCS (support staff) in the ALRCS booth.
Presentation Room, Group Study Rooms
Group Study Room (4 rooms) and a presentation room, each with a computer, projector, monitor, white board, DVD player. Rooms must be reserved prior to use through the “Facilities Reservation System”, accessed via the library homepage.
