Students from APU and Ritsumeikan University hold a Joint Training Session on Information Processing

From Sunday November 23, 2008, till Tuesday 25, twelve APU System Assistants (Information SAs) including 7 international students visited Ritsumeikan University and held a joint training session with RAINBOW STAFF –assistants who provide support with information processing at Ritsumeikan University.

This exchange project is held every year for 2nd and 3rd year Information SAs to strengthen the organization and promote the enrichment of their training through exchange with Ritsumeikan University RAINBOW STAFF and Information SAs.

The Information SAs who participated in the training session received an introduction from the RAINBOW STAFF about their duties and viewed the Staff Room. They each also introduced the basic duties they are responsible for, the projects they are currently involved in and exchanged opinions.

Information System Assistants (Information SAs) consist of 47 current APU students who provide support to solve the problems which occur in information system facilities when using a computer. Whereas RAINBOW STAFF is a student organization made up of current students which provide support such as consultations at the Ritsumeikan University Multimedia Room and maintain the equipment in IT classrooms.

This exchange was an opportunity to deepen their understanding of each other's organizational structure, learn from each other and raise the level of their duties.
