The College of Natural Sciences group, meanwhile, arrived on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, and was greeted by APS Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, KONDO Yuichi.

Ms. HISAI gave the group an introduction of the unique English-Japanese dual language education system APU has adopted, the multicultural and multilingual environment with students from 98 countries and regions, and the AP House international educational dormitory. She also spoke of the high level of interest in Korea amongst APU students and the high levels of student interaction and exchange between Japan and Korea. The Daegu University students spoke of their amazement at the new APU facilities and the campus's international atmosphere.

Ms. HISAI spent one year at Kyung Hee University (Korea) in 2008 as a foreign exchange student and took part in this event as a way of expressing her gratitude to Korea. Ms. HISAI spoke of her ambitions for the future, "My exchange trip to Korea rekindled my interest in languages and I hope to work in a language related industry in the future".
