Multicultural Weeks at APU commenced with 'Korean Week' on Monday, June 18th. On Wednesday, the Samulnori circle performed in front of the fountain. Many spectators turned out to watch the traditional performance which brought the APU courtyard to life with their vibrant sound and energy.

During the last academic year, 'Language Weeks' were held during the spring semester and 'Multicultural Weeks' during the fall semester respectively. However, from this academic year they will both be held once a year under the one 'Multicultural Week' banner.
Multicultural Weeks are held to showcase the languages and cultures of a diverse range of countries. It provides students with the opportunity to strengthen national ties, to enhance intercultural communication and to broaden student's knowledge of different cultures.

(Tae kwon do and Salmulnori performances)
Time: Salmulnori – 10:20-10:35, Tae kwon do – 12:10-12:25 (called off due to rain)

June 21 (Thu.)
Event: Korean Culture
(Opportunity to take photos of Korean students in tradition 'Hanbok' costumes)

Event: Presentation on Korea-Japan Relations

June 22 (Fri.)
Event: Korean Performances
(Korean dance, singing and military arts performances)
