On November 16 APU Master's students' presentation sessions were held. The following four Master's students who received the RCAPS Master's Field Research Support presented.
On Thursday, October 27, 2011, Dr. Warren Midgley from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) delivered an RCAPS seminar under the theme of “Preparing for the future: Learning and Teaching for the digital age”. During the seminar, Dr.Midgley discussed the future of technology in education and the results of an Australia-Japan interactive learning project involving IT and robots in primary school classrooms.
On Wednesday, October 19, an RCAPS sponsored seminar was held at APU.
On Wednesday, September 21, 2011, Ms. Fawzia TALOUT MEKNASSI, a renowned international journalist and social activist from Morocco, delivered an RCAPS* seminar on the topic of “New Media, Movement toward Democracy, and the Place of Woman in Islamic Societies.”
The seminar provided information about the country’s current transition toward economic, social and political democracy according to the newly established constitution.
The role of new media in this transition and the changes in the social status of women were also major themes.
