Professor Japhet S. Law (EFMD・GMAC) will deliver a keynote speech for the AP Conference

Professor Japhet S. LAW (Senior Advisor to European Foundation for Management Education [EFMD] and Graduate Management Admissions Council [GMAC]) will deliver a keynote speech for the 14th Asia Pacific Conference (AP Conference), to be held at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Beppu, Japan November 5 – 6 (Saturday and Sunday), 2016. Professor Law is a prominent business researcher and has been particularly active in the development of business school accreditation in the Asia Pacific region. The speech title is “The Development of Business Education in Asia”.

The Asian economy has gone through tremendous growth and development in the recent decades. This provided the impetus for the corresponding growth and development of business education in the region in terms of both quantity and quality. We will explore the driving forces behind these developments in the region, and analyse how these forces have contributed to the differences in the outcome we are seeing today, and the challenges and opportunities for the business education sector in Asia going forward.
