There were presentations from three PhD students and nine master's students. The Q&A was very lively and went beyond simply questions about research content, with students who were going on to conduct their own field research asking the presenters about their advice for being in the field, their interviewing methods, and so on.
Report: Master's & PhD Student Research Subsidy Presentation Session
On Wednesday, June 14th, 2017, Master's and PhD students who had benefited from RCAPS research support subsidies during AY2016 fall semester presented on the outcomes of their field research and conference presentations at a presentation session in RCAPS Conference Room A.There were presentations from three PhD students and nine master's students. The Q&A was very lively and went beyond simply questions about research content, with students who were going on to conduct their own field research asking the presenters about their advice for being in the field, their interviewing methods, and so on.
