"Multicultural Weeks" are being held again this year on the APU campus. Held over six weeks, this event will put the spotlight on the 98 countries & regions represented on the APU campus and introduce their different language and cultures. The final installment of the Multicultural Weeks for summer 2010, "Thai Week", got underway on Monday 12 and will run until Friday, July 16.
Come along and enjoy the range of Thai food on sale at the cafeteria, the Thai language classes, and also take the opportunity to experience Thai culture through a range of events including a super-spicy Thai food speed-eating contest. Be sure to come along on the final day of the week to experience the Thai Week "Grand Show". Based in WW2 1941 Bangkok, the show will tell a timeless love story between a Thai girl and a young Japanese soldier and will feature a "Muay Thai" martial arts display, a "Fon Malai" traditional dance performance, and much, much more!
We hope to see you there!
