Summer Break Office Closures/Temporary Suspension of Website and Network Services

APU Office Closures
All offices will be closed to student and other inquiries during the campus summer break from Friday, August 11 until Sunday, August 20, 2017. The Central Security Office will operate as per usual.

Temporary Suspension of APU Website and APU-Net Services
The APU website and APU-Net services listed below will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled summer maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

Dates
Period A: 01:00 – 02:00 Friday, August 11
Period B: 03:00 Sunday, August 13 – 05:00 Wednesday, August 16
Period C: 12:00 – 18:30 Sunday, August 13
Period D: 19:00 – 21:00 Tuesday, August 15

Affected Services
The following services will be suspended:

Period A
1. APU Websites: Pages may be unavailable for 30 minutes during the service stoppage.
2. Webmail: It will not be possible to login to the email system (Gmail), but this will not affect mail coming from outside of APU.
3. manaba

Period B
1. Campus Terminal
2. Campusmate (including course registration, grade reports, and employment notices)
3. Syllabus

Period C
1. Internet Access from on-campus computers in classrooms, faculty offices, and AP House
2. Report Submittal/Distribution of Instructional Materials
3. APU wireless LAN
4. LimeSurvey
5. Facilities/Equipment Reservation System
6. VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection
7. Database for Researchers

Period D
1. APU Websites: Pages may be unavailable for 10-30 minutes during the service stoppage.
2. Webmail: It will not be possible to login to the email system (Gmail), but this will not affect mail coming from outside of APU.
3. manaba: Will be unavailable for about 10 minutes during the service stoppage.
