On Monday, September 11, 2017, APU President KORENAGA Shun received the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan, H.E. Ms. FATIMA Rabab. While visiting campus, Ambassador Fatima met with students and alumni from Bangladesh. After the meeting, Bangladeshi students gave the Ambassador and other guests a tour of the school grounds.

Two of the student participants, ALI Shagufta and HASAN Shaikat (College of International Management, 3rd year, Bangladesh) reflected on their meeting with Ambassador Fatima, saying, "The Ambassador asked many questions about class content, international student support systems, and post-graduation career paths. She also said APU's faculty, academic systems, and library were excellent."
