On August 5th, Mr SARUYAMA Sumio (Director, Economic Research Department/Principal Economist, Japan Center for Economic Research) was invited to deliver an RCAPS Current Research Seminar entitled, “World Economic Map in 2050: China Likely to Stagnate as U.S. Retains Dominance.”

On July 19th, Assoc. Prof. Hiroshi Todoroki (College of Asia Pacific Studies, APU), was invited to deliver an RCAPS Current Research Seminar entitled, “Geographical Identity in the late Joseon Korea.”
In the afternoon of Wednesday, July 17, 2013, an RCAPS Book Appreciation Gathering was held in RCAPS Conference Room A to celebrate active research activities of APU faculty members who published a book in AY2013 and designed to inspire further APU research activities. Many APU faculty members and graduate students gathered together.
On July 17th, Professor KIM Sangho was invited to deliver an RCAPS Current Research Seminar entitled, “Estimating Productivity Growth in the Korean Economy without Restrictive Assumptions.”
