At the Intersection of Business and Sustainability: APU X JETRO Seminar and Social Event

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) Global Trade and Investment Report@APU
JETRO and APU will be jointly sponsoring an English seminar.
How should companies respond to constant changes in international trade and investments? How should they balance different policies between various countries? What role should business play in carbon neutrality?

Such topics and more (attracting business to an area, creating a sustainable society, etc.) will be covered in this seminar. Whether your interests are in business, entrepreneurship, the environment, or understanding society, this event has something to offer for all participants. The seminar will be followed by a casual social gathering, so please feel free to attend and mingle with other APU participants, the lecturer, and others from the JETRO community, especially Oita businesses.

About the lecturer: Yasuda Akira joined JETRO in 2002, and has worked in various roles, from being a dispatch researcher at the Institute for International Policy Studies, deputy manager for the Overseas Investigation Department’s International Economics Division, deputy director for the JETRO Brussels office, and from 2023, the chief examiner for the Investigations Division.
