Aug 6, 2007

A summer camp for high school students was held on the APU campus between August, Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th. The educational camp attracted 85 third-year high school students from all over Japan.

APU students, representative of 78 countries and regions from around the globe, participated with the high students, together deepening their understanding of current issues facing the international community and discussing how these will affect the future. This year was the 8th year the ‘APU Summer Camp’ has been held.

The high school students, who were selected from a large number of applicants nationwide, examined and discussed the various issues facing the international community in the 21st century. Everything was brought together for a presentation on the final day of the camp.

The 3-day camp ended with participants promising to meet up again at APU in spring next year.
