A Big Welcome to 80 Student Exchange and Study Abroad Students!

An orientation session was held on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 for the new exchange students and study abroad students who will begin their studies at APU this spring.

After a welcome speech from Dr. Kondo, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the students had different sessions concerning academic life here at APU, Japanese life and culture, and a campus tour.

A total of 85 students from 14 different countries and regions were welcomed into APU this spring including 71 exchange students from 2 domestic and 37 overseas partner universities, and 14 study abroad students. In addition to last years exchange student intake, there are now 23 study abroad students and 86 exchange students from 50 of APU's partner universities across 17 different countries and regions studying on-campus together with our APU students.

We hope that your life here at APU and Japan is fulfilling and exciting for all of you!
