Facilities reserved online

Student Union Facilities

Usage hours

  • Mon-Sat:8:45-21:30
  • Sundays and national holidays:8:45-19:40

Notes on use

  • Borrow the key by showing your student ID card at the Central Security Office. Clean facilities after use and check that all lights are turned off and doors/windows are locked. Return the key and inform the Central Security Office that you have finished.
  • There are brooms and dustpans in each facility. Student organizations that use Student Union facilities often should regularly clean the areas you have used.
  • Groups using the music rooms and event space should fill in a check sheet.
  • Take the check sheet when receiving the key and submit it when returning the key to the Central Security Office.

Atelier

Usage hours

Notes on use

  • Borrow the key by showing your student ID card at the Central Security Office. Clean facilities after use and check that all lights are turned off and doors/windows are locked.
  • Do not leave dangerous equipment such as saws, knives, nails, etc. on the floor. Be sure to return them to the designated storage areas after use.
  • Return the key and inform the Central Security Office that you have finished.
  • When storing works in progress, be sure to label equipment clearly to identify which group it belongs to.
  • The Atelier is not a storage space. Please remove all personal belongings after you have finished your activities.

Multipurpose Field

Usage hours

Notes on use

  • Please borrow the key by showing your student ID card at the reception desk in the gymnasium. You will need to sign in and register by showing your student ID even if another organization has already borrowed the key.
  • In principle, one organization will be allotted 1/4 of the field, however, you may discuss the distribution of space with the other organizations using the field if necessary.
  • After use, please use the rake close to the entrance to clean the field. Fill out the “Multipurpose Field Check Sheet” before and after use and submit this to the reception desk in the gymnasium.
  • There are designated times when the Multipurpose Field can be used for individual use.(Refer to Individual Use of Sports Facilities)

Gymnasium/Arena

Usage hours

Notes on use

  • In principle, one organization will be allotted 1/2 of the arena space, however, you may discuss the distribution of space with the other organization using the arena if necessary.

Gymnasium/Fitness Room

Usage hours

  • Mon-Sat:9:00-21:00
  • Sundays and national holidays:9:00-18:00

Notes on use

  • Outdoor shoes are prohibited inside the gymnasium. Please wear indoor shoes.
  • Do not disturb other arena users, by not crossing directly across a court. Instead, walk around the outside of courts.
  • It is possible to bring beverages into the arena and Fitness Room to keep yourself hydrated while exercising. Please be careful not to spill any liquids on the floor.
  • For safety reasons, mop up any spilt water, juice, sweat etc.
  • Please mop your area of the floor after use.
  • There are designated times when the gymnasium can be used for individual use.(Refer to Individual Use of Sports Facilities)
  • You must attend a Fitness Room Guidance session to be able to use the Fitness Room.
  • Check the Student Office website for the guidance schedule.
  • Fitness Room use will be limited to a maximum of 30 people at a time. You will not be able to use the Fitness Room if the number of users has reached the maximum limit.
  • Fitness Room use is limited to 2 hours per person at a time.

Tennis court

Notes on use

  • Make an online reservation for the date and time you want to use a tennis court.
  • Please borrow the key on the day of use by showing your student ID card at the reception desk in the gymnasium.
  • Please be sure to wear tennis shoes when using the tennis courts. APU does not lend tennis balls or rackets.
  • Loosen court nets and use a court brush to sweep the courts after use.

Equipment

Notes on use

  • Please reserve equipment online.
  • Using the sound equipment requires special training. You must take the “Sound Equipment Guidance Session” before being allowed to use sound equipment. Guidance session schedules are posted on the Student Office website.

Facilities reserved at the Student Office

Student Council Room

Usage hours

Notes on use

  • Students that carry out activities that meet the following conditions will be permitted to use the Student Council Room. Students who wish to use the Student Council Room should inquire at the Student Office and fill out a Student Council Room Use Request form.

    • 1. Activities that require a considerable amount of office duties and operating space.
    • 2. Activities that require a reception desk for participants, or a fixed place to deal with on- or off-campus persons.
    • 3. Student Office staff will conduct an inspection of the Student Council Room after use. Please go to the Student Office to inform staff that you have finished using the room after you have returned equipment to its original location and cleaned the room.

Millennium Hall

Usage hours

  • Mon-Sun (including national holidays):8:45-21:30

Notes on use

  • Millennium Hall is not a facility that students can use. However, for students conducting special activities, permission for use may be given based on their submitted application. Please inquire at the Student Office.
  • For events where more than 300 persons are expected to be in attendance.
  • To practice for events held at locations on a similar scale to Millennium Hall.
  • Only certain groups are allowed to use the light and sound control room. If you want to use the control room, please consult with Student Office staff.
  • You can reserve Millennium Hall in advance for up to 1 rehearsal (*maximum of 4 hours) and the day of your event (it is possible to reserve it all day). All other rehearsals (maximum of 4 hours) will be reserved in 2-week increments.
  • Submit a rehearsal schedule to the Student Office and consult with staff if you require more than 4 hours.

Main Ground

Classrooms

  • Mon・Tues・Weds・Fri: From 5th period onward
  • Wednesday:From 4th period onward
  • Sat・Sun:All day (excluding make-up class days)

Notes on use

For use of classrooms in Building F, FII, D, H, and J.

  • Classroom use is prioritized for classes. Therefore, even if a student organization reserves a classroom, the reservation will be cancelled even on the day you intend to use the classroom if the classroom is needed for a class or maintenance.
  • Please reserve another classroom If your classroom reservation is cancelled.
  • In the case of same-day reservations, there is the possibility that the classroom you reserved may not be unlocked and the air conditioning may not be turned on. Please contact the Central Security Office in such cases.
  • Student organizations are not able to use the meeting rooms in Building D and J.
  • Clean facilities after use and check that all lights are turned off and doors/windows are locked.
  • Please be sure to make a reservation before using a classroom.
