On Friday, March 16, 2018, approximately 680 students will receive their diplomas at the APU Graduation Ceremony, leaving behind their multicultural campus.
Since opening in April 2000, APU has graduated about 16,300 students from its undergraduate colleges and graduate schools. This year's cohort of graduates, like those that came before them, will step out into the world and go on to play active roles in a wide range of fields. They have learned to respect others’ differences, cultural and otherwise, and appreciate the value of cooperation.
Our graduation ceremonies are events bringing together students, parents, and well-wishers from all over Japan and the across the globe to Beppu. You can see the colorful display of red graduation gowns and traditional costumes from anywhere in the world.
For those who are unable to attend the ceremony, please follow our live streams on Facebook Live and Ustream (being August 1, 2018, playback via Ustream is no longer available).
