Paradisi is a student organization established with the aim of promoting a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. The founding members wanted to improve the environment and sanitary conditions of their home country of Indonesia, so they created their organization with the goal of carrying out activities that would improve the situation. At present, their activities are mainly conducted online because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Paradisi’s initial plan was to raise funds to support their organization through a variety of in-person activities such as gardening, organic soap-making workshops, and selling environmentally friendly products. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, they have started with educational activities on social media to raise the awareness of APU students on environmental and sanitary issues. The members of Paradisi hope that APU students participating in the online organic soap-making workshop can develop a better awareness of both environmental concerns and sanitary conditions when washing their hands with environmentally friendly soap. Paradisi is currently planning an online gardening workshop and other activities to be held in the near future.
