MeWe activities throughout the year
To attend to the fluctuating emotions of students throughout the seasons, MeWe creates different events and shares information based on the time of year. At the beginning of each semester, they release information to help students get used to studies and campus life. Then, during the stressful exam weeks, the group posts methods to get in control of one’s emotions. They also post thematic content during May, Mental Health Month, as well as on International Mental Health Day in October, calling for students to check their mental health.
In February 2022, looking toward the spring semester, they collaborated with the Admissions Office’s to create the “I Miss You Campaign,” which included a game in which students who would be newly arriving to APU could experience Beppu. For all their efforts MeWe was recognized and awarded the top prize at the 10th Healthy Campus Forum. Before the end of Project B, MeWe conducted training for its peer support members and improved their effectiveness as a mental health enlightenment team. From April 2022, they have continued working as an APU circle to protect the mental health of students. The group is looking for members, so if you are interested, please take a look at their SNS accounts!
