We are aware is a student organization that spreads awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals for youth in Indonesia and in the wider world by disseminating comprehensive information about the SDGs. The group supports government initiatives to realize a more equal and sustainable society as well as creates a community to spread awareness of these issues in Indonesia and throughout the world.
The group mainly collects information about the SDGs, government and NGO initiatives related to them, as well as current issues in Indonesia and posts about them on Instagram. By building their presence on social media, We are aware aims to ignite students’ interest in the SDGs. Furthermore, the group also holds online seminars that introduce changemakers’ past achievements and projects for those who would like to know in detail how to contribute to the SDGs.
