What is APU Tech Club?
APU Tech Club is an organization that holds "hackathons" for students to create new products and ideas in the IT industry and solve problems. Hackathon, a portmanteau of “hack” and “marathon,” is an event in which software development personnel, such as programmers and designers, carry out intensive development work in a short period of time. Recently, as companies move toward DX, learning new technologies, such as AI, machinery, and cloud computing, is necessary for today’s workers. In APU Tech Club, students learn the analytical, IT, and communication skills necessary to solve social problems as well as attend seminars and training sessions provided by IT engineers and designers. If you are an APU student learning about the problems that affect us all, please join the APU Tech Club hackathons. Those who are interested in IT and want to know more about DX are also welcome.
