What is HERVoice?
HERVoice is a platform for APU’s women to support each other under the theme of woman’s empowerment. Since starting last year, they have held online roundtables and lectures featuring women who work in the media. These online roundtables attract over 40 participants each time, and allows participants to share experiences and thoughts as women. Realizing that men also are important for women’s empowerment, the group also invites men to join these events. On Instagram, they often post content to inspire women, such as quotes from women leaders or episodes of gender equality.
HERVoice is expanding and participating in other organizations’ events. They also held an art exhibition for pieces that express women’s empowerment entitled, “Through HER Eyes.”
