Purpose
The purpose of this ceremony is to honor students who have actively participated in various educational residential programs (Living Learning Programs), and to recognize their personal growth and completion of their residency.

Dear Juniors, Welcome to the wild ride called dorm life! As your chaotic-but-loving senpai, I’m here to tell you one thing: don’t just survive here—thrive, laugh, scream, dance in the halls (quietly maybe?), and make memories you’ll never shut up about. Join the dinner parties, sneak snacks at midnight, spill tea (literally and figuratively), and go to that random event even if you’re in pajamas. These moments? They’re gonna stick with you forever. This dorm gave me some of the best days of my life—and now it’s your turn. So, go on, make a little mess, make a lot of memories, and most importantly… don’t forget to have ridiculous amounts of fun. さいこうの思い出をつくってね〜！ With all my love and leftover cup ramen, Your slightly unhinged senpai.

In your opinion, what was the key factor that led your floor to win the award this time?
The key factor is that residents actively participated in a lot of MIX programs and they were really interested in these living learning programs start from the orientation and they always asking me when will be the next MIX programs and encouraging them to participate in these great programs.
What is the most fun or unforgettable memory you have from your floor?
We have a lot of unforgettable memories but some of them would be - during the pick-up days, we ( me and Abusu) bought snacks and drinks for them and had the snack party at night and have night talk and they share some of their traditional snacks and stories. Another one would be when me and some of the residents are having the conversation on the ground in front of the elevator on our floor (they call it weekly court) and suddenly the NHK cameras came out of the elevator for the 72 hours, the residents started to run away from the cameras and run straight away into the toilets and never came out until the cameras went away to the other kitchen. Not only these, the residents are really sweet and warm and always share even their personal lives and concern about the classes and late night talks.

I motivated the residents on my floor to join the events.

We played with water guns and cooked meals together
