APU25th Anniversary Photo Contest-We are looking for pictures of your best memories in APU!
We invite students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members and anyone connected to APU to submit photos that capture the vibrant spirit of the university and its students in action. Twenty-five photos selected by the APU 25th Anniversary Executive Committee will be exhibited alongside messages from the contributors. The exhibition will celebrate APU's 25th anniversary and to share a reflection on its dynamic history and community.
<Eligible Photos>
1) Photographs that show the energy of APU and its students, or that depict APU’s historical moments.
2) Photographs that have been approved by the entrant and the photographed subject(s) for submission to this contest and for display in the exhibition.
3) Photographs that have not been digitally altered or created using AI.
4) Photographs that conform to the file requirements:
*File formats: jpg, jpeg, jpe, bmp, png
*File size: max. 20 MB (per photo)
*Higher-resolution photos would be preferable.
*Printed photographs are accepted.
<Application Period>
Tue.,July 1st – Sun., September 21st
<Prizes>
*Winners will receive a certificate and APU merchandise.
(Ex. You may choose one item from the following: APU hoodie, T-shirt, mug, mini teddy bear, etc.)
*The “APU President's Prize” winner will receive a special message from APU’s President.
<Schedule>
Tue., July 1st – Sun., September 21st: Photography Submission Period
Wed., October 16th: Announcement of Winning Photos
(Notification will be sent via e-mail)
Sat., October 25th & Sun., October 26th: Tenku Festival, Special Exhibition in Building J
November: Prizes given to winners
*Photos may be displayed at the events of the APU 25th Anniversary Celebration
<Notes>
*A maximum of 5 entries per person is allowed.
*The 25 selected entries will be posted on the APU website with a photo, a description of the photo/message, and the author’s name (a pen name is acceptable).
*Current APU students, faculty, and staff may pick up their prizes at the Outreach and Research Office. Prizes will be sent to other recipients.
*Personal information will only be used for purposes related to the implementation of this project.
