APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship for International Students (Graduate)

＜Purpose＞
The APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship for International Students (Undergraduate) aims to reduce the financial burden on international students and help them continue their studies. This scholarship is made available by the financial contributions of domestic and international companies and individuals that support the ideals of APU, together with the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

| Eligibility |
This scholarship is only available to students with a "student" residence status (student visa). The scholarship will be revoked if the recipient's "student" residence status changes while studying at APU. |
| Applicable Period |
The minimum length of time required to graduate (up to the 8th semester). ＊ An Assessment for Continuation will be conducted each semester to review academic performance and other criteria ＊ The scholarship will be revoked in case of any inappropriate behavior that is not in line with the expectations of a scholarship recipient. ＊ This scholarship can also be applied when students participate in a student exchange program at a domestic or foreign university ＊ For students taking a leave of absence, the scholarship resumes in the semester they return to APU. |
| Selection Method |
The selection for the scholarship will be conducted before enrollment based on academic ability and financial need. Students can’t apply after enrollment. Please note that the tuition reduction rate will not change after enrollment. |
