With a 50-50 student body of Japanese and international students, APU has adopted a dual enrollment system that allows students to enroll in either the spring or fall.
International students make up over 90% of fall new entrants, many of whom attend the event in their traditional national attire, ensuring that the fall entrance ceremony is a colorful and vibrant event. Attending an APU entrance ceremony helps us to get a better idea of the vast diversity of cultures that exist around the globe.
Current students also join the celebrations and take part in a range of performances during the ceremony including traditional Indonesian dance, Korean music, and traditional Japanese drums.
In order to assure that parents, family members and well-wishers around the world who cannot attend the ceremony in person are able to watch the event, live footage of the ceremony is also available on the internet via Ustream.
Be sure to tune in and celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter in the lives of our new APU students.
