  • After being selected as a scholarship recipient, the school will report to JASSO on a regular basis regarding the status of the student's studies and school life.
  • Based on the reports from the school, JASSO will take necessary measures to continue the scholarship based on the student's academic performance, etc.
  • Depending on the results of the eligibility evaluation (academic and other), the scholarship may be discontinued or suspended.
  • Depending on the circumstances, students may be required to retroactively return any scholarship benefits or tuition reductions they have received.

If you wish to continue receiving the scholarship, you must submit an "Application for Continuation of Scholarship" once a year (around December of each year), indicating that you wish to continue receiving the scholarship.
Submission is done via the Internet.
