2-2. Type A: Autonomous Events
Type A: Autonomous Events
These events and activities are planned and conducted entirely by student groups. A student group may be approved if its event plan is meaningful, safe, and in compliance with the University’s extracurricular activity rules. Organizations approved for a Type A event have flexibility in planning and implementing their events, may use the University’s facilities and equipment, may promote their activities on campus, and are eligible to apply for a subsidy. If your group is planning its first event or activity and requires financial assistance, you may apply for a subsidy ranging from 10,000 yen to 30,000 yen. Approximately10 subsidy applications are approved per semester. Clubs and circles are also eligible to apply for a Type A subsidy when organizing a new event or activity.
