Fukuoka Futaba School and APU Sign Collaboration Agreement

On October 7, 2024, APU and Fukuoka Futaba School held a signing ceremony for a collaboration agreement. Attendees included Fukuoka Futaba Junior and Senior High Schools’ Principal Mr. Juichi Takeda, Head of the Education Reform Promotion Headquarters of Fukuoka Futaba School Mr. Hiroshi Osamura, Director of the School Public Relations Department Mr. Kenichi Kinoshita, along with APU President Hiroshi Yoneyama, Vice President Akihito Asano, and Dean of Student Affairs Hiroki Tahara. The agreement was signed by Principal Takeda and President Yoneyama.

Under the APU 2030 Vision, "APU Graduates possess the power to change our world," APU is working to create a new regional development model driven by cooperation between the private, public, and academic sectors, with the university at its center. In its collaboration with high schools, APU aims to nurture individuals who can change the world through initiatives that make use of the multicultural environment, where students from 110 countries and regions learn together, and through collaborative efforts with APU faculty members from 27 countries and regions.

With the signing of this agreement, Fukuoka Futaba School and APU will promote mutual exchange of personnel and the use of intellectual resources, addressing various educational challenges effectively and working together to enhance and advance education for both institutions.

Workshops and lectures in Japanese and English for the Global Leader Course, aimed at fostering the next generation of global leaders.

International exchange programs to deepen understanding of different cultures, promote research activities, and improve English proficiency.
