Twelve employees of Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Company Limited came to APU from November 8 to November 10 for a short-term training session. The trainees, six of whom were employees of overseas subsidiaries and six of whom were young employees of the Japanese parent company, came to APU's multicultural campus to hone their intercultural adaptability by engaging in introspection and developing an awareness of the role the subconscious plays in their decision-making.
On the first day of training, Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Managing Director SAKAMOTO Koichi provided an overview of the company and talked about the attitudes required in the real world, while International Affairs Director MIZUTANI Masaki gave a lecture on the merits of leasing in the financial sector and the company's global strategy. About 80 undergraduate and graduate students joined the 12 trainees for the session and listened intently to the speakers.
The next day, the trainees engaged in wide-ranging discussions with GSM students from various countries under the guidance of the Dean and faculty of GSM and participated in a strategic leadership game. On the final day, the trainees gave presentations on what they learned during the short program.
