We, the Nepali community in APU and Oita, would like express our deep and sincere gratitude to everyone for their wonderful and generous support of our fundraising activities for the victims of the Great Nepal Earthquake that struck Nepal on Tuesday, April 25, 2015 at 11:56 local time. As of Friday, May 15, we have completed our fundraising activities at APU.
Thanks to everyone's kindness, we managed to collect a total of 4,781,349 yen in contributions. These contributions will be transferred by the University to the Nepal Prime Minister's National Relief Fund through the Ambassador of Nepal to Japan.
Your kindness has not only supported those in Nepal during these difficult times, but has also contributed to the learning and development of students from Nepal studying here. Once more, please allow us to express our gratitude.
Thank you.
On Saturday, May 23, 2015, two APU alumni and one current student (KARKI Bilam、JOSHI Dinesh Prasad、BISTA Radha Krishna) visited the official residence of the Ambassador of Nepal to Japan, H.E. Madan Kumar Bhattrai to report the donation result.
