A magnitude 3.5 earthquake occurred in Beppu City at 05:21 today, April 21. There is no danger of tsunami. There are no casualties or structural damage at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. Currently, central Oita Prefecture is under a storm warning. Please be careful of heavy rain and high winds.
Buses to APU are operating normally. However, the library will remain closed today in consideration of this storm warning.
