APU's College of International Management has signed an agreement for a double degree program with NEOMA Business School (NBS) in France.
With three different international business education accreditations (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA),1 NBS is a university with a strong international reputation. It shares many common traits with APU, such as a campus with students from about 100 countries, more than half of its faculty coming from countries other than France, and more than 60,000 graduates.
Over a total of four years of college life at APU and NBS under this program, students will be able to experience global learning in both Asia and European contexts. Upon graduation, in addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration from APU's College of International Management participants will simultaneously also acquire a Bachelor of International Business Management from NBS.
Double degree programs provide the longest stay at an overseas university of any off-campus study program. Formal enrollment at two universities enables participants to study under both the APU and host university curriculums. Not only is receiving degrees from two universities a noteworthy achievement, but studying under two educational systems endows students with qualities such as a diverse perspective and critical thinking.
At present APU's College of Asia Pacific Studies has double degree programs in operation with three universities.2 Now, through this double degree program with NBS, the College of International Management will be able to offer its students similar learning opportunities. Dispatch from the College of International Management to NBS will occur only in September. First-year student enrollees from September 2019 and April 2020 will comprise the first batch of students to be dispatched. Recruitment for this first batch of students to be dispatched is planned for February 2020.
Further, APU students in the program will be able to attain degrees from both universities while only paying tuition to APU, according to the agreement. There will be no need to pay a separate tuition to NBS.3
