The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) have awarded Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) to research projects by APU faculty members this fiscal year.

“Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) are the only competitive funds that aim to significantly develop scientific research. KAKENHI covers researchers’ ideas for basic to applied research in all fields, ranging from the humanities and the social sciences to the natural sciences.”

Of the 6 selected projects, one was awarded the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B) and five were awarded Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C).
