On Friday April 1, 2022, after the entrance ceremony, His Excellency the Ambassador Sanjiv Gunasekara visited the APU campus and discussed the future of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan’s relationship with APU with President Deguchi, Vice President Yoneyama, Vice President Asano, and Dean Sato of the College of Asia Pacific Studies.

They talked of future possibilities, such as the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan providing internships and online seminars for APU students.
