Three APU Students Win Awards in FALIA (The Foundation for the Advancement of Life & Insurance Around the world) Essay Contest

On Friday, January 24, 2025, an award ceremony for the essay contest conducted by the the Foundation for the Advancement of Life & Insurance Around the world (FALIA) was held in Tokyo. The FALIA Essay Contest is an annual competition on the theme of life insurance, open to international students in Japan. In the 2024 academic year, FALIA received applications from students from approximately 30 countries and regions applied, and three APU students received awards.

The FALIA Essay Contest allows submissions in English. Every year, many APU students take on the challenge and submit papers on topics such as the outlook for the life insurance environment in their home countries or comparative analyses of systems in various countries. Information about the application process is also posted on the scholarship page of the Student Office website, so we look forward to seeing more APU students actively take on this challenge in the future.
