Visiting the APU Campus

You are free to tour the exterior of the APU campus.
(If you wish to visit with a group of more than 10 people, you will need to contact us in advance via E-mail.)
Due to the potential impact on classes and student activities, we generally ask that you refrain from entering the buildings. However, you can use the cafeteria (Building E-Student Union), the Co-op Shop (Building EII-Student Union II), and the Lawson convenience store and waiting area (Building I-Tokimachiba).

Available Tour Dates and Times:

You can visit between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM, except during the following periods:

During the regular examination periods (late May, late July to early August, late November, late January to early February)
During the entrance examination periods
During the summer break (mid-August)
During the winter break (late December to early January)
*Please note that visits may not be possible at other times due to unforeseen circumstances.

For those who wish to tour the APU campus (for groups of 10 or more)

If you are coming with more than 10 people, please contact us in advance.
You are welcome to meet with students and have lunch in the cafeteria.
*If you are visiting with less than 10 people, contacting us in advance is not required.

(1) Visiting type

  1. Free (self-guided) tour only (*Contact in advance is required for groups of 10 or more)
    You are free to tour the exterior of the building.
    Please refrain from entering the building as it may affect classes and student activities. The cafeteria, Co-op store, and Lawson are available for use.
  2. Student exchange(Face-to-face or online)

(2) How to apply

Please contact campus-t@apu.ac.jp to apply.

* We do not accept applications through intermediaries such as travel agencies. Please apply directly from the representative of the group you wish to visit.

* If you are a high school teacher or a person who is considering applying to APU and would like to visit the school, please refer to #3 below.

(3) Lunch at the cafeteria

During your visit, you are welcome to eat at APU's cafeteria (you will need to pay for the meal costs).
If the number of visitors exceeds 10, please notify us in advance using the contact information below.

* During class periods, the use of the facilities during busy lunchtime hours (12:00-13:00) is generally not permitted in order to give priority to faculty, staff and student use. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

* Depending on the number of people, please understand that the cafeteria may not be available for use.

* When using the cafeteria, please refrain from bringing in food (e.g., packed lunches). (Except for those with food allergies).

(4) Notes

Group tours of 10 or more people are limited to one group per day.
Classroom tours and mock classes are not available. Please understand this in advance.
