On Thursday, January 14, 2016, Prof. OTAKE Toshitsugu, the Dean of the College of International Management (APM) and the Graduate School of Management (GSM), hosted “A Cup of Tea with the Dean”—a meet-and-greet with GSM students and soon-to-graduate fourth-year APM students. Conceived by Dean OTAKE, the event was planned and put into action by a student group called ACES*. This is the second such meet-and-greet with the Dean, following a gathering held for new students last fall.
Dean OTAKE kicked off the meeting by saying, “You, the students, are some of APU’s most important stakeholders, so I would like to hear your frank opinions.” The session continued with an active discussion on three topics: ways to improve the APM curriculum, students’ post-graduation plans, and efforts to strengthen ties between APU and the Alumni Association.
