With the coronavirus pandemic having placed an additional strain on students by forcing you to adjust to a completely new environment of online classes and activities, it goes without saying that your achievements in your studies and extracurricular activities were especially hard-earned this year. I commend you for your unwavering commitment to your academics and extracurricular activities despite the concern and anxiety brought on by the current situation. Your outstanding achievements in the midst of this world-wide crisis are a testament to your determination and resilience.
The end of the pandemic is sure to come, however, to those of us who have lived through it, the future we had envisioned may be different than the future that actually awaits us. That you have accomplished all that you have even during this period of great upset and change makes me confident that you have the power to make important positive contributions to the creation of this future and I will be looking forward to seeing how you put your abilities to use from here on.
