On April 6, 2025 (Sun), students from the College of Sustainability and Tourism (ST) participated in one of the special events of the 111th Beppu Hatto Onsen Festival, the "Yu Bukake Festival," held in Beppu City this year.

The College of Sustainability and Tourism (ST) aims to connect with the local community, the city of Beppu, and its people, striving for regional revitalization. As part of its activities, ST participated in this festival. The event attracted not only newly enrolled students but also faculties, staffs and students from other colleges, resulting in a lot of participants. Together, they roamed the streets of Beppu, joyfully drenched in hot spring water, their smiles illuminating the atmosphere.

The Beppu Hatto Onsen Festival has been a beloved event among the local community since the year 1910. This year's festival was a great success, drawing large numbers of visitors from both Japan and abroad.
