On Sunday, October 19, 2025, APU took part in the inclusive theme park event Harmony for the Future – What We Can Do Together for the Future, held at Harmonyland, the Sanrio character park in Hiji Town, Oita Prefecture. APU contributed original university merchandise as prizes for a raffle and hosted cultural experience booths led by student organizations, offering visitors opportunities to engage with diversity firsthand.

This event was a collaborative initiative by Heralbony Inc., Sanrio Entertainment Co., Ltd., and Honda Taiyo Co., Ltd., aimed at creating a future tourism model that “leaves no one behind.” The event featured accessible design and diverse experiential content to ensure that all visitors—regardless of ability or background—could enjoy the space.

APU joined the event as a supporting organization in alignment with its inclusive values. In addition to providing raffle prizes, student groups including the Thai Student Association and THAISETSU set up booths offering immersive experiences of Thai culture. Visitors enjoyed making pla taphian (fish-shaped crafts) and trying on traditional ethnic costumes, gaining a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity.
