APU Concludes Agreement of Cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, APU held a signing ceremony for an Agreement of Cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MoSHE).

The ceremony took place in Tokyo, together with Minister Sayasat NURBEK, who was visiting Japan to attend the summit between the leaders of five Central Asian countries and Japan. Vice President Serik MEIRMANOV was a representative from APU side.

During the signing, Minister NURBEK expressed his intention to strengthen collaboration with Japanese higher education institutions. In particular, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation with APU—an institution recognized for providing world-class global education—both in education and research.
