On Friday, May 3, 2013, the APU student volunteer group “Peace×Piece” will be hosting the Japanese actress, AZUMA Chizuru, to speak about the German NGO Friedensdorf International and read from “Marrianne & Parsha” a picture book authored by Ms. AZUMA based on Friedensdorf International. A photo exhibition will also be held featuring approximately 40 images taken by Peace×Piece members during their aid projects with Friedensdorf International and images provided by the NGO.



Friedensdorf International is a German NGO established in 1967 to provide support to children living in regions affected by war and other dangers.

AZUMA Chizuru is a Japanese actress involved in drama, stage performances, emceeing, public speaking, writing and more. She is also an advocate for volunteer projects such as autism awareness campaigns, and regularly travels around the country.

Peace×Piece is an APU student volunteer group that travels to Friedensdorf International (Germany) once a year and is involved in donation campaigns, photo exhibitions, project information sessions and more.
