“Opening Parade” 12:00 – 12:25 @Fountain
Onlookers are welcome to join this parade of Indonesian culture and music, spilt into two groups to show the generational differences in Indonesia. 100 students will also form three letters “INA” (abbreviation of “Indonesia”) in order to break a new record.
“Pasar Malam” 18:30 - 20:00 @ Cafeteria
Indonesian style night market with several stalls providing Indonesian delicacies, photo booth, face painting, and traditional Indonesian games. Also, there will be live music, keroncong (Indonesian traditional music), and short drama performance with the theme wayang. In this event, grab the chance to win a special prize of Indonesian Week 2014 Grand Show ticket.

Participate in Indonesian traditional games and sport competition as usually played during independence day celebration. The winner of Indonesian Week 2014 Photo Competition, which has been held since the beginning of Indonesian Week 2014 will also be announced here.
“Grand Show” 18:30 – 20:30 (doors open: 17:45) @ Millennium Hall
Featuring stage performances combining traditional dances representing different regions of Indonesia, a musical performance using daily items, a fashion show, band performances and more in the form of a story to convey Indonesia’s true colors to audiences.

Come check out our display of folk costumes from Jawa Island’s Yogyakarta and East Java areas, set in the atmosphere of a Javanese living room. Free to try on, and a great photo opportunity! We’ll also have Indonesian games and free tastings of Indonesian treats!

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Nasi Goreng (Indonesian style fried rice), Tempe Mendoan (fermented soy beans fried with seasoned flour)
Tuesday, Thursday: Ayam Goreng Kuning (Fried turmeric chicken), Ketoprak (steamed vegetables with sweet peanut sauce)
